Quality Castings Economically Produced
Castings produced at
KenWalt are designed to minimize and where possible eliminate secondary
machining and finishing requirements. The castings shown include
transformer housings, regulator diaphragm retainers, cover plates and a
visual display assembly.
Innovative Undercut Designs
KenWalt has
successfully met these special needs by incorporating slides and
special core pulls into the die design. These castings show only a few
of the many possibilities. Included are electrical motor housings,
regulator bodies and switch control housing parts.
Integrally Cast Inserts
For special
characteristics not obtainable in die casting alloys, integrally cast
inserts can be an economical method of achieving the following results:
extra hardness at points of wear, special bearing qualities, passages
for liquids or gases, electrical or heat insulating properties, good
electrical contact, resiliency, etc.
